Michael James called claiming to be with Microsoft saying my computer was being used by hackers. Wanted to take control of it to fix it. Microsoft said it was a scam. Beware.

Suspect it to be a usual nuisance number put the phone down & did 141 & called them back - the number was blocked from incoming calls = Suspicions proved correct

When phoned back does not even ring, line just goes dead, so not a genuine caller. I would suggest you do not answer any calls from this number.

Rang 12h04GMT 07FEB20 female voice with strong indian/asian accent. Did I know that my broadband connection was sending many messages and blocking the server. When she asked me for details I asked her to tell me my name. She hung up.

This is one of many numbers on a scam/spam rampage. Ive tracked the number to a street in liverpool, but i m not sure if they are using a proxy or not. I have a name of the operator and told them to take my number off ALL the numbers databases....Short to say I have been phoned a few days later, from the same office or complex. This number called my elderly mums number, I answered, they said it was something to do with Windows then mentioned computer, I told them not to ring this number again that there was no computer at the property and to remove our number from their database, I was rudely informed that if they were to do that we would be charged, and they could ring as many times as they wished.

Keep calling asking for name of person who doesn t live at our address then says that I m lying to protect this person. Very nasty company that just don t give up! Reporting to Information commisioner!!

Started with hard sale on Carbon emmisions and he unfortunately has since gone on to invest large sums of money in gems and oil. Portfolio of investment was supposed to go to auction Dec 13. Man with Indian accent asked for me by name, claiming to be calling in relation to DNS mail server problems. Asked if my computer has been running slowly or with issues and then asked if I was happy for him to go ahead with fixing it. I am ex-directory and TPS registered etc so asked how he got my details which he then claimed he got from my ISP. Clearly that wouldn t happen due to data protection so I asked for his company name and contact details so I could call them later. He said i could check them out
