SCAM Said he was calling from Microsoft and Virgin. When I said to speak to his manager, he told me repeatedly that his manager would fuck me.
This number has been calling my landline approx. 7-8 times a day for the past 5 days. I always check 0844 numbers before I answer, so I have been ignoring this once I saw the negative comments left on this site. How can I stop them calling altogether?

Fraud , indian female , claiming she was from virgin media, asking if i was aware my broadband would be cut off in a couple of hours as there had been a lot of illegal activity from my account. she hung up after i pushed her to give me information about my account. i am not sure whether it was passwords or payments she was after but she got nada from me and hung up.

Was sure that it was a Canadian cousin then accepted it wasnt. Asked for £9.00 odd etc etc due to bill , didnt make any sense. I persisted with the likeness (exact) of the females voice and its origins, was told India LOL I know a Canadian accent, I told the thick cow did she think I was thick? and to go and find someone else-I really wanted to use the f word but in case i got it wrong and upset some Indi/adian for nothing (and possibility of getting new phone line cut-off. 99 per cent scam , I think? - Oh

Caller identifies they are from Choice UK but always put the phone down when asked for their head office address. Calls are now twice to three times a day.
Call center Says they are calling from Carnmoney warehouse and have a promotion for me I have had 2 calls today but they call everyday from similar numbers which I block. They are a real nusiance
SCAM - pretends to be calling from Amazon with an investment offer. Very rude and bullying approach.
I know many people who will no longer answer their landline unless they recognise the callers number. It is businesses like IJT, boiler-room scams and PPI Claim companies who have changed the telephone from a useful tool and friend into a nuisance ridden pain in the arse. Well done everyone!

Allegedly Vodafone ringing me to give me a 40% discount on my bill for 12 months. I don't use Vodafone. I use ASDA, so they use Vodafone as the signal, but I have no dealings or bills with Vodafone. So clearly a scam.

SCAM - 'Amazon Prime acct charged $1,499' - I don't have an account!
SCAM 07920 351494 automated voice saying internet section of my bank (but did not say which bank) and that they have stopped a £600 transfer to Western Union and for me to press 1 to speak to an adviser. I hung up believing this to be a scam call.
Scam call from HMRC. Caller message is in an American accent and when you call back its an offshore rather than UK dial tone and they answer as HMRC - clearly a scam of some sort and not a very convincing one. Caller blocked but beware!!!

SCAM Claiming to by Lloyds - a bank I don’t even have an account with. Text message saying “You have requested £829.99 to Asim Khan DEBIT will reflect shortly on your accounts. Contact us if this was NOT you via, 0333 339 4872”. Apparently both numbers in France. FFS fed up to the back teeth with scammers - LPA for my mum who has been scammed out of thousands of pounds. They need shooting.
