They called and said it was a confidential matter and wanted my details so I asked for the companies name but refused to give it as this would prejudice the situation so I advise that their is no provision within the DPA 1988 which states that they are not allowed to disclosed their details prior to me disclosing mine.

Tried to tell me that I need to get a new mortgage right now or I would end up in ?10,000+ worth of debt due to my current mortgage. Received a text message claiming to be from Royal Mail with a link to a website that I do not believe to be genuine, claiming fee to pay on a package otherwise it would be returned to sender. Possibly spam and potentially dangerous.

Scam from a company that will ask to get money from you through a voucher (3V prepaid voucher) because they say:"You have been accepted for a personal loan". By any cost, do not believe them, trust me, I have been there. They just take your money, and that s it, you have to pay more and more charges after that. So DO NOT FALL FOR THIS BULLSHIT.
