How did they get my details when this is not my phone it's paid for by somebody else 250 miles away. The mind boggles at how much scammery people think they can get away with. Safe number . Company called STABIMOC calling about a form you filled in about bullying and if you can answer a couple of further questions. If not then they simply say ok and let you hang up with out hassling you. Great company
SCAM - Pretending to be Microsoft and they download Anydesk on your PC, run some commands and show you the "threats" on your PC. They then run something that shows banking details and they direct you to go to your online banking so they can assist in fixing your security with your banking. (I am in IT and an elderly customer got tricked by this).
don't know anyone in Aldershot where the call originated, they left no message so assume it's a SCAM or SPAM

Got a call from 01997 617418 and he said he was called “Daniel”, obviously incorrect based on accent. He said he was from Curry’s PC World! Stating he was doing mobile phone upgrades. Upon notification of the fact I had already upgraded recently he hung up.

As of writing, 3 different numbers tried to call me today (020 8956 2943, 020 8956 2230 and 020 8956 2601). They all start with 020, I don’t know anyone who owns those numbers, maybe the same individual is using different numbers to call me. Likely a fraud and now it’s harassing.
Caller claimed to be from an organisation which teaches English as a foreign language to Philippine people in need and wanted to recruit me as a volunteer to have conversations with students - quote "they may ask you questions about your life". I asked where I could check this scheme out and he said his manager would call back with further details. Very suspicious. Call about a motor vehicle accident I had and said I had a compensation payment waiting for me - they would not give more details or say who they were acting on behalf of.
Fraud keep getting texts from this number asking for bank details for a failed parcel delivery.

Fraud Had text claiming to be be from Starling Bank - text came through on same message thread as previous verification code so I thought it was genuine. Text advised suspicious activity in my account for which they would be contacting by phone (which they did the next day) They already had lots of my identifying info and put me through other checks. They’d cleared thousands out of my account by the time I’d called Starling bank a few hours later.
