Scam text supposedly from the NHS wanting payment for a covid passport, which as we all know is free

does anyone know who's number this is?

Timeshare platinum weeks. Out of date information quoted, probably from other organisations or companies. Seems to have a database out with data protection laws/ no protection from GDPR, and information shared or sold by others. Cold called without permission, TPS not checked and seems to use a mass computer calling system as have had lots of dead calls from same number.

I have no idea who this is, it s only because my latest phone bill has come in & this number has cost me ?1.63. I never dial 0871 numbers so this must ve been one that I answered & have been charged for! Since I have no business in India, this must be a scam call!!

PPI claim company, said they got our details from a lifestyle survey but we never participate in these to avoid unwanted calls. Clearly lying, and from the number of people complaining I hope we ll see TPS/ICO take action and fine them.

Reading comments I bought a car from car base a few weeks ago, could be to do with that but missed call. Will probably block.

Some policy review company. They are very rude. Have been calling every day for the last how many weeks. Keep telling them to remove me from their database and they just hang up and then ring the next day!!!

I called the number back got through to a recorded voicemail advising it was not a sales call, it was a market researcher working on behalf of EE - I am an EE customer so seems legit.

Accident scanners. The most annoying thing is that the code is my local one and as I am self employed, I had to answer. Wasted 5 mins of her life as a bit of revenge!!

Caller asked to speak to person who wasn t in. Told to phone again after 6pm (4 hours away). Received 2 further calls from this number within 30 minutes of original call so caller obviously doesn t listen.

Said it was HMRC investigating fraud and if I did not press 1 I would be arrested and sent to prison!

Just received a call from these people claiming to be providing access to some sort of discount club and that they would send a welcome pack in the post. They called twice in the past week, so I called back curious to see what company it was. All they said was it was consumer care line. The first woman hung up on me when I asked what the company was. The second was a guy who after me asking a few times went into the speech about PPI and other loans and stuff and then when I said I ve never had any of that he ended the call. He knew my first name though which was a bit confusing.
