I got a text from number 07474 220881. said " Hi mum I've broken my phone, a friend let me message you from theirs but its nearly dead. Can you call me on my new number 07564646779" which is this number and I did check the number that sent me a text, apparently the website said it is landline. Im confused.

This is an unwanted and unrequested caller who is breaking all UK regulations regarding sales calls to TPS protected numbers. The caller was called Elsie, had USA accent so number may be spoofed. Refused to confirm my I'd so caller hung up. Avoid this caller.

There are hundred or so text charges showing on phone provider account to me. But it they were not sent for my phone, there is no record of these text messages being sent on my phone's log.

I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. This number called twice today. The man claims to be from a mobile phone company that works with my operator. Offers better deals. and need my details, and my contract details and when I asked why he's not taking data from the screen he admitted that my details are not there and he is calling with a completely different company. Clearly scammers and it's better not to talk to this number.
