Indian call centre. Asking to ask a few questions and claim to be Data Protection registered. Clearly plan to sell data on anything you say. Hung up when requested their registration number for Information Commission Office.

A scam. Rang before 8.30am this morning, Automated message about switching off your broadband due to illegal/illicit use. Caught me off guard as I am waiting for messages from hospital about a seriously ill relative. These people are scum.

Receiving calls about boiler replacement every couple of days and I am now about to put it on my Truecall machine. The best ?100 I ever spent. I seldom get nuisance cals these days but as soon as I have time I Google them to check authenticity, then put them on the Truecall if not trusted. I am hard of hearing, most know this and I seldom get calls now unless important.

Foreign sounding guy purporting to be from BT Openreach. Told me he'd detected slow internet speed on my Broadband. Asked me various networky questions which I deflected. Eventually, he realised he was being taken for a ride and accused me or wasting his time (!) A tirade of abuse followed and he called me an a****le, m*****f*****r and a few other expletives. At this point I started laughing which made him even more abusive. I said I would report him to Ofcom as such language is illegal in UK phone network.
also just got a call from this number, very rude asian guy asking me about my debt, i stated that I had not requested a call and why should I give him that information, his response "because you re a f*cking idiot" and hung up. the address for Back on Track is 145-157 St Johns Street, London, EC1V 4PW... half tempted to pay them a visit with the police in tow

Indian accent man, all he did was asking me yes/no questions... like, are you ____? is ____ your postcode? have you got a mortgage? are you happy with your bank? After I replied to his questions he said ok have a lovely day an hung up... which I found weird. Unfortunately, it was until he hung up that I realised he might have been recording my yes/no answers to use this for any sort of identity fraud or scam... SCAM - scam call, says it is HMRC and threatens that you will be arrested if you don't follow their instruction.
Apparently, according to recorded voice, the National Crime Agency are going to suspend my National Insurance number and arrest me. This is unlikely. This is the only one of 4 unknown calls from Vodafone numbers I have answered in the last couple of days but suspect all of the same ilk.
