silent call ended by a recorded "good bye". Had this before and it was followed by a Microsoft scam call

"Life Survey, calling from the Uk, a few minute to answer the questions and you won t get nuisance call again." I doubt that very much, also pet peeve but called me by my first name which suggests they have more information than I would care to give.I had to stop his spiel to ask him to remove my information which he couldn t do so I ve hung up. Really bad accent,hard to understand and rude. Hate these calls.

Call centre noise in background caller doesn t speak then hangs up. i dialled 1471 and called them back to be told (without even asking who I was!) that their colleague had been trying to get hold of me . Then put in hold. I just hung up

This is a new, and weird, one for me. Called my landline but disconnected when I picked up (now they know this is a live number,,,damn!!). No message left so I'll never know if I have been left millions of pounds from an unknown benefactor who needs me to handle his money, for a small fee, to help them evade paying local taxes or being claimed by a fictional Government department.

a lady said I had 5 free tickets for euro millions for tonight, I asked politely for my number to be renoved as im not interested. she then said" well its a chance to win free money, im pretty sure you would be interested if you actually listened to what im telling you" she was quite aggressive! Called me and then the usual number of 0161 850 1033 came up, so they must be connected. Hard sell company trying to make out a windfall amount of cash from a non-fault accident is yours and is simply dying to drop in to your lap. Avoid.

It seems its a scam as they called me as a car insurance company asking my bank card details for payming without sending me an email or post for the contract details!

Got call re having an accident/medical negligence case. Since haven t had either, call is Cold-call and I am TPS registered. Won t anybody get these calls banned? Should we start an online petition to No 10?

Saw the random number and predicted immediately it would be an insurance scammer. Sure enough, English sounding girl on the phone asking about recent accident. I told her I don t want to participate in her scam. She paused a few seconds and told me she was just calling from an insurance company (didn t actually say a company name). I told her no she wasn t. I had my details sold by Car Phone Warehouse, after buying phones....... told ICO hope someone does something as in their terms and conditions there is wording relating to this, but no opt in or opt out..... it s just wrong, I pay for a service, a phone and then they sell my details on.... why .... never ever have I had such texts/ calls as I do now all within a day of purchasing something from their site...
