I suspect a scam. Added to my phone book memory facility list on phone. Input these nuisance numbers in so they show up on my screen as caller id: ignore1, ignore2, ignore3 etc After a couple of months can delete off phone book memory, by then they have given up if you don t answer.

I foolishly answered this number on my home phone (they are also calling my mobile twice a day every day) and it was a guy with a very strong accent, I asked him several times for the Company name but couldn't tell what he was saying as he was in such a rush to get out his "spiel" regarding updating my contact details. I told him repeatedly that I hadn't heard of his company and was not going to give him any details but he ignored me and carried on repeating himself so I put the phone down.
This landline from London area is used by call center working for non-profit organisations, mostly connected with Amnesty International, British legion, Cancer Research etc. but can be used for different organisations. Can be a nuisance, in fact a legitimate call, you decide...
