Unsolicited call to my mobile today. FCS Financial Services - sounds like an overseas caller. Have blocked the number. Area code is supposedly in Scotland.
Since I blocked this in November 2016 my phone has blocked 31 calls from them! You have thought they would have took the hint by now

Very pushy but convincing girl at the end of the phone - said they were calling because I had entered a competition to win a trip to New York and so was eligible for ten free lines on Euro Millions. Sounded vaguely legitimate until she started asking me for personal details - date of birth, etc... "to confirm I was over 18". Told her I wasn t prepared to give any personal information over the phone to a call centre and she hung up. More convincing than the usual scammers - but still dodgy as. Block this num

Now They have been calling me about my website. The Indian guy said that they were a Internet Company and his manager made him to call me because my website has been marked as dangerous. He also said I have to make a decision quickly because my website will be taken out from Goggle search. Seems they have a new scam. First they call me from 02031291891. Then they tried a few times. After that the same guy called me from +61871001312.

SCAM Automated call from "Amazon", confirming renewal of Amazon Prime for one year for £71 plus. Given options of "Press 1 for this, 2 for that." Of course I have not renewed an Amazon Prime membership - didn't have one to renew. I said nothing, pressed no buttons, and after about 30 seconds of silence the line dropped. It's likely they would have asked for my cc details so the could confirm/reverse the charge; I'll never know :-)

This is the 3rd different number used by the same scammers. Unusual card transaction £300 & £1000. Odd they never tell whose card or what card and always sane amount. Also 0844 3585862. It s an automated messing service. We had a message from the local dentist saying we had an upcoming appointment. In our case it was genuine. We ve had such messages before. However, the company sending the messages doesn t seem to be choosy about who else pays them. Call wasn t wanted or needed. Similar comment put on that number as well.
