Was a bad line and the lady couldn't speak English all that well, said she was from "The Ombudsmen" - Scammer

Robot call, says from Amazon fraud department. Usual rubbish about £700 suspicious transaction, press 1 to block the payment etc.

Fraud purport to be BT openreach and after prolonged instructions on front of computer ask to download and run "anydesk" which is legitimate software but not in the hands of these con artists.

A voice said he was James from Relief Energy who said; "I've been trying to call you for a few days now, actually." Well, nobody has been trying to call me when I was at home, and as I check my phone whenever I've been out, then I know for sure that it's nonsense so I just hung up. It was someone claiming to be my daughter saying she had lost her phone and to ring her back on the above number. Daughter was with me at the time she definitely hadn't lost her phone. So in my opinion it was a scam.

Call had an automated voice stating a criminal case has been made against me... Then I hung up... Scam.
