I received a call from this number just now. He said he was from a company called Technical Help Service and told me my computer had a virus. He tried to convince me using various methods including running the eventvwr (the errors listed there are not related to viruses!) This is identical to the well known Windows Technical Helpdesk scam. This number keeps calling me to ask for a previous owner. Every time they call they say they have never called before. These people called me this afternoon, didn't leave a message. They seem to be searched for on this site by others; hence I've blocked them.

Rude Asian man telling me about a problem with my computer. His supervisor called me back and asked why I had been rude to his staff. I told him that he was rude by saying that he would put a block on my computer and I would have to pay to get it working again. The 3rd call was just shouting at me in a foreign language. Calls 4 and 5 were silent but I could hear the same people in the background.
