dirty dirty dirty dirty scammers. avoid at all costs

SCAM Very rude gentleman claiming to be from BT and asking me to access a website because of a (non-existent) change to my Internet connection. Became aggressive and clueless when I asked him to prove his identity, before giving up easily. Come on, guys, you're not even *trying* to be convincing any more! Amateur.

Said it was HMRC investigating fraud and if I did not press 1 I would be arrested and sent to prison!

Older person came out of hospital today to find call from this number purporting to be from "Lisa at HMRC" and saying that there is a serious lawsuit against the person and he must ring the number :( :( Person is registered with TPS.

This number has been calling me for days. I just answered and the lady said they were ringing to find out if I'd managed to get 'that refund?', a p.p.I. one appar...

As above chap said he was from Home Computer and would fix my computer My answer was which computer would that be. He said the one you are using at home my reply being don'...

The call from this number was supposedly from BT saying my landline was to be cut off. I checked with my provider who confirmed this was a scam call as none of my service is from BT. My provider has referred the number to their specialist department for investigation.

Wanted to tell me that Openreach are now going to bill me and BT will credit me with lots of excess payments. Needed my direct debit details and was just so pushy that I just hu...

Calling every day not leaving message so cant be very important will try to catch it & put it in my call protect voicemail box,strange that none of the numbers ive put in there so far have left a message.

I have had several calls from this number which have remained unanswered as I know no one from this area and only family have my number

Whoever these people are they are persistent- 9 calls in the last couple of weeks!

Accident scanners. The most annoying thing is that the code is my local one and as I am self employed, I had to answer. Wasted 5 mins of her life as a bit of revenge!!
