SCAM Community initiatives associates used to scam money for their Community Aware magazine run by 2 brothers Ian and Steve Jackson. Since then they have moved on to School Book scams fronted by a Kelly Griffiths under the name of Embrace Education based in Chester. It’s very rare the books get sent out, and only do if you check with school and ask for money back.
Rang to say they were from a community safety awareness leaflet, and that I had agreed last october to renew an advert with the publication. (Which I am 99.9% certain I did not do). He then said he would get his head office to call me back with a tape recording of my agreement. I am still waiting for said head office to call me.

When answered a girl spoke and said she was calling about an accident I had. Obviously a student trying to make some extra cash. She certainly has not been reading the news about big fines for cold calling!!!

For a change, I pressed 5 because I wanted to find out how I got ON their database in the first place. Endless calls at all times or the day from these scammers despite being registered with TPS. Time these companies were put out of business and the bosses jailed for a long stretch for the distress they cause.
