I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. got a text from this number saying my account with Natwest has been locked, I am not with Natwest and it also links to a website. the website it links to domain was created 17 hours ago with a low traffic volume a bit weird for Natwest. Don't you think? I would avoid this link and if you are really worried call up Natwest on their official number.

They ring up every week asking if you?ve updated your gas and electric meters to smart meters.
