Silent call. Received a call from (07458 148209) on my mobile, although very few people know my mobile number. When I managed to answer there was nothing to be heard from the caller's end so I assumed it was some dodgy scammer. Someone on another site like this reported the caller to be an annoying or aggressive salesman from "Go-Assist" - this makes sense as I'd contacted them online about repairing a household appliance, decided their prices were far too high and deleted all their emails. Rang off when I answered. Rang back to get an answerphone purporting to be Oxfam. Highly annoying. I already give regularly to Oxfam but I ll reconsider if these calls continue.

Internet claiming to be from BT open reach telling me I have an issue with my internet. Had a very strong accent, so I apologised and said I couldnt understand her very well so I would call BT immediately to find out what the issue was. She didnt have any response to this, will note as annoying as no idea if it would have been a dangerous scam had I not hung up, but as she was telling me to check my router then come back & they would 'fix it' I would assume this is where it was heading!!!

American sounding woman called me saying she was from Nationwide Trust Bureau. She said someone at this address had a car accident in the past 2 years. (I haven t.) So i asked her what address was that. She repeated her line, do i repeated mine. She hung up.
