This number is a scammer...the code is for Leicester ..I rang the number back and the ring tone is not a U.K. tone. ..my call rang until it dropped, no one answered. Obviously a company from overseas fronting their call with a false U.K. phone number..Beware..!

I have received five missed calls from this number so far, in the last two days. The sixth was at 06:04pm, on the 17/01/2013. It was a woman, I never caught the companies name, but she was calling from Manchester. She knew all my details and was calling on the subject of repaying loans and debts.

I am pretty sure this is a dangerous scam....Informing me not by any name, that they are from fraud team investigating my insurance number which has been suspended due to being stolen and used !!!!!!! Just to say ignor this as they ask you to speak to one of their officers !!!!!!!!!!!! Which then I presume will request all your personal details etc. You would never be contacted in this way by a government dept.

Someone called my mobile from this number 02087258118, using an automated voice, saying they were going to suspend my National Insurance number because of unusual activity!! Very threatening and loud voice saying I had to ring back this number immediately. To me that sounds like a scam because anything serious and legal they would have phoned and spoken to me and sent an email. Its twice now that my mobile number has been contacted by scammers and its getting really annoying.

Got a call today from some guy asking for me by name (which I didn t acknowledge - I never do.) I immediately asked who was calling to throw him off his spiel, unfortunately he mumbled his "company" which sounded like s&l legal? and immediately launched into his sales patter regarding the mis-selling of PPI. I let him ramble on for a few then interrupted him by saying I worked in the banking industry and could run rings round him with regards this. After a little research when they left a similar message to everyone elses reports saying they were DRD and to call them back. This seems to be them http://www.debtreleasedirect.co.uk They are a debt management company (rather than debt collection) and it is a sales call.
