SCAM - apparently "David" wanted to help me fix my "broken" internet router. I told "David" that it was handy he'd called as my Husband was a Sky engineer and if he held the line a moment I'd put him on to discuss. "David put the phone down on me..... how rude !!! Clearly a total scam call which apparently originated from Basildon but more like Bombay based on the accent. Be aware.

This following is clearly obvious “Royal Mail were in Strike on the 24th Dec”. These stupid Thieving Clowns. SCAM. Call received at around 21:30 hours. Caller asked to speak with me by first name. I did not confirm whether I was the person required, but asked who was calling. She did not answer but repeated her question. When I asked again who was calling, the young sounding woman said 'I'm from Virgin.' I then asked what she wanted with the person for whom she had called and she hung up. A bit later I called the number back and the same woman answered with 'hello!' Definitely not from Virgin. Scammer.
