getting fed up with this number calling me on an almost daily basis and leaving annoying automated message telling me to press 5 etc . Who are they?

The call from this number was supposedly from BT saying my landline was to be cut off. I checked with my provider who confirmed this was a scam call as none of my service is from BT. My provider has referred the number to their specialist department for investigation.

Called by a Welsh lady saying they were handing out free grants for loft insulation -- did I have loft insulation? I immediately smelt a rat & asked who was calling. He is an awful man, Akram Arebi, convicted for poaching and attacking a woman and he had others having restraining orders against him. He is a dangerous man

Pretended to be BT & said was an engineer called John Morris phoning about our internet being hacked. Said his number was 0203 239 4138 but when checked on ring back it was 01235264789. Hung up when I asked him to put the problem in writing.

They said I had won a discount holiday but wanted me to answer all personal questions. Told them I was busy as something didn't see right Too pushy and too nosey.

They called and said it was a confidential matter and wanted my details so I asked for the companies name but refused to give it as this would prejudice the situation so I advise that their is no provision within the DPA 1988 which states that they are not allowed to disclosed their details prior to me disclosing mine.

Phone call in connection with insurance services.

I have been receiving daily calls from this number for about 2 weeks and every time I pick up the receiver the call terminates.
