10 Dec 2021 - Told me he was from 02. Told him I wasn’t even with 02 then started getting annoyed saying I returned his call. Told him I hadn’t. This went on for a few minutes. I was laughing the entire time. Reply

Silent call - disturbed my train of thought during work hours on a work-only number. Best guess is they dial out in excess of capacity and just dump surplus responders -- whoever they are this is an abusive practice

Received an abandoned call on 22/03/2023. I called back and they immediately knew my name as they could see my number (despite it being withheld). After much persuasion on my part, they told me they were DIRECT AFFINITY EUROPE and had been given my details by a Hull motor dealer (D.M. Keith) to chase a 'lost sale'. But I had told D.M Keith that my number should never be passed to any third party!

SCAM Caller said they were from Amazon and that I would have a high payment charged monthly (£79.99) unless cancelled and the caller was going to "help me" cancel my Amazon Prime subscription. After some arguing (as she tried to get me to stay on the line), I hung up and checked Amazon website going through their online chatbot. The 'company' title 'Expert Savers is misleading to get personal information from you, including bank details if you let them supposedly sign you up to a magazine subscription, etc. This is another new number for these harassing pests who won't delete your details from their systems if you ask them to - I know because of having repeatedly (dozens, if not over a hundred times by now). This one is a Birmingham (UK) dialling code, but they use others too.
