SCAM / SPAM A new " Amazon Prime" scam call today. 8 days ago we had the same type of call (01203482996) using the same robotic female (possibly Philipino) voice BUT this week the "cost" had almost trebled, they were apparently going to debit £99.99 from our bank account ....... Government call re@ my NI number - threatening me with arrest if I didn't push button 1 and talk to an officer. I'm to be arrested in 2hrs! It is frightening for me although I'm aware it is a scam. This is the 2nd call of this nature this week, the first from a different number. I will soon have more blocked numbers than contacts!

This number is making calls and either being rude to people or hanging up when the call s answered. The number is not an actual UK number, it s being used by someone from overseas as a link for when the call is generated, and so that it can get past the TPS service. Whoever is making the calls using this number should be found and stopped. They are nuisance calls.
