This person claimed to be my child who had smashed their phone and wanted me to WhatsApp this number, which I didn’t do. They said they had called from a friend’s phone 07599569709 which was about to die. This is terrible preying on parents. I don’t know what would have happened if I clicked on the number. Turns out it is a local call number for an American selling investment advice, so best avoided.

I had a call this morning from 01628 349218 stating it was BT's technical dept and my internet will be terminated today. I hung up. Then I received a call from this number about 20 minutes later but there was silence. Hung up immediately. Others have reported this number also has a recorded message about BT's technical dept.
