They always call me while at work, and each time I tell them I have no time for their survey. They refuse to accept that and insist it will be very short and just proceed with their survey. DON'T SPEAK if you don't recognise the number - JUST LISTEN, wait for them to speak first. If the caller just hangs up or only a crackling noise is heard and then hangs up, then congratulations you've just escaped being scammed. Well done!
Called today at 16.53, caller said she was from the Housing Maintenance for Council Houses and she was calling me because I am a council house tenant!! VERY WRONG!! This was on my mobile phone and she said she had this information including my name!!
