i was called by this number and given an email address concrening work related issues and found the email address to be bogus

Good afternoon in January my daughter passed out at home and fell and broke a tooth, and now the tooth on the side is moving and it hurts, as I haven't been to the dentist for a long time they say I have to register again and they are not receive at moment, I already called to another dentist to make a new registration are also not receiving, which I do ? 01691 - 660971 This number is a SCAM!!! They called my landline at 8.49am (automated at first) pretending to be AMAZON to say I'm about to be charged £39.99 for my AMAZON PRIME subscription which i don't have and have never signed up for, but to cancel it i need to be on my device and they would talk me through it on-line. When i asked if is this was a SCAM she said 'What are you talking about' and put the phone down on me.

Called yesterday (12 Nov) at 18:46 and drivelled on about the PPI you were sold. Obviously a bunch of spivs as I don t do PPI as I don t take out loans or use credit cards. Attempted to make a complaint to the TPS and their website says "noting to do with us try the information commissioner". Who is paying for the TPS and why? They seem to be a waste of space.

This appears to be a scam to obtain credit card details for illegal purposes. We called the number and was immediately asked for our credit card number, but NOT WHICH CREDIT CARD NUMBER, which raises concern over legitimacy, as we have several cards, so which one would we use?
