CHECKING MY BANK STATEMENT I FOUND A DEBIT OF ?99.99 FROM A FREE TIME CD. I RANG THE BANK WHO WERE VERY HELPFUL AND FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS FROM A PURCHASE I HAD MADE ABOUT A MONTH EARLIER. Paid Wix for a .com domain name, had 3 emails from people i've never heard of and this call at 08.56am this morning, I didn't answer, as i've had this mobile number 48 hours, and the only people who have this are family and the payment screen at Wix.... Annoying... I'm blocking the number, but I did NOT give my permission for them to share my details.
I received this and replied with Claim to see if I could get someone to call me whereby i would find the company name in order to report them. Someone called me the next day and when I told them I hadn t had an accident but wanted to know who they were, they hung up.

Called asking for information on my recent accident,when I asked who had informed them she said she would remove my number from there data base ,and then hung up .
Called me to say my take-away was ready, called me mins later from a different number with the same message. Told me to pick up the take away which I had ordered and then told me I am a horrible person, and other unpleasant things. I live at the other end
Caller was young woman with Liverpool accent and said she was from First Assist. I asked what that was. "It's a quick call about a road traffic accident in the last two and a half years." Told her to b***er off and hung up. Cannot see any record of thios company in St Helens where the call came from.
A very elaborate scam. So Good that I wanted to check it for myself. The guy on the phone was very good and only when I asked for their manager and mentioned that no Microsoft branding is in place, that he put me on hold and never took me off. Karnig @ www

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases free boiler replacement scam). I recommend to block the whole 84305006xx range... Did someone answer this number?
