Received the text today ! Received on the 26th Dec and referred to 24th Dec. The exact message as above “Attempted Delivery”. This following is clearly obvious “Royal Mail were in Strike on the 24th Dec”. These stupid Thieving Clowns. Now reported to the “National Cyber Security Centre” You can forward the text to 7726 Don’t forget to create the contact and then block the contact. DO NOT CLICK ANY LINKS ! Hope this helps.

Very pushy but convincing girl at the end of the phone - said they were calling because I had entered a competition to win a trip to New York and so was eligible for ten free lines on Euro Millions. Sounded vaguely legitimate until she started asking me for personal details - date of birth, etc... "to confirm I was over 18". A woman rang saying she was from St Helens; some recycleing company. Said she could get a grant for windows, doors conservatories or boilers. Said she would ring back later. Immediatley the phone went down a man rang. Think this is some kind of hard sell/ scam type of call.
SCAM VERY DANGEROUS - Electronic voice claimed I'd been committing tax fraud, presumably as a means to try and extract information. Despite the London number it then connected to a callcentre in what sounded like India. They clearly had no details on me whatsoever. When I asked them who the hell they were and what their game was they quickly hung up.

Rang up asking to speak to accounts about the business insurance, told them it was renewed in march. they then wanted to know who it was with and I said that Im not obliged to tell them and told them not to ring this number again but they probably will do
Received a call at 14.27 p.m. from Barclays/Barclaycard saying that two transactions had been made this morning. One for £2000.- and another one for £700.-plus.
