SCAM / SPAM Call with a automated voice claiming there is a HMRC fraud registered under your name telling you to dial 1 to talk to someone if you look up the number you will find it also registered as a Chinese number China. Guangzhou City and will incur charges if you press 1.

Reported to ofcom and trading standards. 10 calls in two days. ?Mortgage Advice Service?. Tried to tell me that I need to get a new mortgage right now or I would end up in ?10,000+ worth of debt due to my current mortgage. However I rent my home - I have never had a mortgage, have never even enquires about one, and no intention to get one. A recorded voice indicates an outstanding tax issue. Asking you to press 1 to be connected. Failure to do so will result in a warrant for your arrest (on the grounds of tax fraud) being issued. Her Majesty's Inspector of taxes would not phone if there was an issue. They would write to you. They know your address, but fraudsters and scammers like this do not. Do not press to accept the call. if you do they will know the number is in use an probably sell your number on to more scammers.

Getting repeted calls upto three times a day all trying to tell me im entitled to ppi. Ive been patient, silent, rude but nothing seems to deter these people. Really think they should stop wasting their money on repeatedly calling the same number to get the same answer. Think next time I answer the phone ill answer it as department of internal fraud and see if that makes a difference. Im ex directory and am still puzzeled as to how they know my name.

An automated call to my landline that eventually stated it was calling from Amazon about Amazon Prime and about to cancel account and to press "1" to talk about it. As I had to say "hello" several times before the machine sprung into action I was suspicious and hung up. The number has no international prefix or area code and Amazon do not have my landline number.

This was a SPAM call claiming to be from Microsoft.
Call from agent for EE, which I managed to get them to verify as the number on my phone came up as possible fraud. My broadband/TV Box price has now been frozen by them for 18 next months, (EE previously sent me warning it would be going up at end of contract date) and a free upgrade to super-fast broadband, from fast. They were able to give me details about when my phone,that I also have with EE, was due for upgrade as verification that they were actually genuine, as I ve had callers before about phone

SCAM txt telling me my Apple Pay has been suspended. & to click the link to get it sorted. I don’t use Apple Pay. Opened the PayPal app & checked that, all up & running ok on there. So obviously a scam. I fwd the txt to Action Fraud then blocked the number & deleted it.
