SCAM. Claimed to be from HMRC and there is a fraud investigation against me. If I don't press 1, I'll be arrested immediately!
This number range is allocated to Core Telecom we allocate numbers responsibly within the ofcom regulations. The call to cost this number is 30p per call. SCAM / SPAM Called to say my Sky service renewal was out of date. When I told him I don't have cover, he tried to argue that I pay for it by direct debit. Once he realised he wasn't getting anywhere, he decided to hurl flurry of obscenities and abuse at me. I tried to keep him on the phone as long as I could to waste his time but eventually he hung up.

Called into my office at a large corporate, asking for the husband of a former colleague who left the business 2 years ago.
I have received five missed calls from this number so far, in the last two days. The sixth was at 06:04pm, on the 17/01/2013. It was a woman, I never caught the companies name, but she was calling from Manchester. She knew all my details and was calling on the subject of repaying loans and debts.

When I answered there was a short delay then obviously a busy call centre with numnerous conversations taking place. The caller had a very strong Indian accent and it was impossible to understand what she was saying, not helped by the background noise. Typical of many other scam phone calls. I left the phone on but ignored the conversation until the caller closed the line.
