Received this call from this number introducing the company as CMA after I'd had an accident. Told me my details were 'passed on to them'. They've been harassing me every night from similar numbers for almost a week now. Asking me to confirm details of accident so that some sort of insurance or compensation claim can be made against the other driver's insurance. Avoid!!

Answered call. Nobody responding on the other end with strange ringing noise in background. Has all the hallmarks of a scam or worse (e.g. phone hack). Avoid in all circumstances would be my considered advice.

I picked up the phone on the second ring and asked who was there and whoever it was just hung up.
hese people who rang me are actually uswitch and they saved me a lot of money on my energy bills ?260 a year to be exact! they are not just piggy backing as you like to call it.. And at the end of the day guys i know for a fact that these guys only call people and get your info from you doing surveys and its not like they are Robbing you on the street ffs!

Got a text from that number at 14:28 today stating: "Hey mum I've smashed my phone, please message me on this number 447706598765 urgently x I'm texting of a friends phone". I checked with my child and they said they never contacted me, therefore this must be a scam.

SCAM they purported to be from Three network and said that as a valued customer I could receive s reduction on my monthly payment. I gave them my name, dob and address as they requested it to confirm their details. I became suspicious when they asked for my bank sort code and account no so they could amend the direct debit. Having reported a fault to BT online, I received a call from this number. My (BT) screening phone did not let it through. I rang BT to ask about an engineer and said I had received a call from this number, I was told that, upon checking my account, no one from BT had called. It appears not to be a genuine BT number.

As everybody else said, an indian man called with lots of background noise claiming to be from Talktalk. He said there was a problem with the internet running slowly. Had I noticed this?
