My phone is brand new from Carphone Warheouse on a Vadofone contract. I asked for no marketing calls. This was an unwanted sales call so I have decided to terminate my contract as I am within the cancellation period.

Had the very same thing on this number 016188182004. Indian accent from a call centre, passed on to "manager". Told them them I knew what they were up to and that they were ringing from India. Don t give them any information and put the phone down.

Too long a pause to wait for an answer. After I received this call my virus protector warned me that my computer was connected to an unsafe wi-fi link. It definitely had been OK before. I don t know if there was any connection between these things but I would check your wi-fi after receiving it to be on the safe side

Rings for about 10 secs several times per day. Stops before you have chance to pick up your handset. Thought this type of call was one illegal. When are the Watchdogs going to fine these F. Yes, they are still operating and looks like they are having a New Year hunt for more people to con, as several friends have had calls from them over the past few days. I take great delight in stringing them along for as long as possible, listening to them get more and more frustrated as I keep asking questions about their blocking box . 0800 012 3123 is a scammer claiming to be from Aberdeen (the finance company?), asking for bank card details.

Received two calls from this number today. Caller identified himself as Nathan from A.C.S. When I asked what A.C.S. stood for caller terminated call.

They just phoned me. A pleasant woman asked if I wanted to upgrade my boiler.

I jsut had a call from a sweet man give me this whole spiel about Great Ormand Street Hospital. I know great hospital etc. In the end I didnt donate because i am not in the position to financially, otherwise he nearly had me there. Other threads on the net suggest that this was a hoax. I am not sure. People be aware..but don t forget to care!
