Pre-recorded message claiming to be from bank saying there had been two suspicious transactions and giving options to press 1 or 2, depending on what response mine was. Voice was good RP English. Investigations and trackers located source to the Khram Pokrova Presbytery at Bogoroditsy in the New Soviet Union (Russian Federation) Republic of Mordovia.
This is for a travel agent called Tropical Sky. It was a legitimate call in my case.
This number came up on my mobile. When i answered it was piped music as if i was on hold with a recorded message by a female talking in an Asian language. Very quickly hung up and have blocked the number

Recorded message saying BT & that internet would be disconnected within 24hrs unless press 1 to speak to someone. Luckily my elderly mother who they called is pretty cautious about scams and checked with me. I got her to do 1471 & googled the number finding various reports of similar on BT forum.

I got several calls a day from this number whilst abroad. Didn t answer as I didn t recognize the number and is there was an emergency from some sort they would have left a voice mail.
