this is a scam will try to get you to reset your bank password, DO NOT DO IT.
What an insistence, it turns out to be boring.
Recorded message speaks of suspicious activity on my card "this morning". Identical (down to the amounts) to yesterday's call re "this morning" from different number. No name of bank given, my name not used. Scam.

This is a hoax .... say they are from currys and PC world... they offer upgrade on your phone, 1 week on no new phone canceled card payment and direct debit, phoned again today soon as they heard my voice they hung up, I've been keeping the line busy for the past 2 hours .... got nothing better to do. Didn't confirm my name, if it matches the account holder name, or any account details besides the phone number (which they'd just called, so duh...). Just started asking for the verification code they send you by text when accessing your account. The one where the message specifically states not to give the code to anyone, even people claiming to be O2 staff... Probably not calling from Edinburgh either, probably a spoofed number.
