Didn't ask for me by any name. When I said, "Hi". Guy on the line said "Hi, this is Daniel I'm calling from the legal......." I've no idea what he said after legal as I'd hung up by then & blocked the number forthwith. Cannot abide
Second call on same day. Spoke with my wife who handed the phone over to me. I briefly listened to the same fraudulent story he gave to me earlier in the day. I m so glad he called back - it gave me the chance to direct some good old fashioned Anglo Saxon at him which he reciprocated with as he laughed. If it weren t for the fact that some vulnerable person may be conned by these a**holes then it would be funny. A more pathetic scam perpetrated by low-life scum would be hard to imagine.

Unwanted call, rings you, holds on for a few seconds and just hangs up. Called it back as curious and immediately put on hold. Hold music is default for an Asterisk / FreePBX based phone system and whoever called are using it to send out auto-dialer calls - reported to TPS.

They phoned me twice today from Manchester and twice yesterday using a number based in London. Ending up in a huge argument with the lady as she was so pushy and every time I told her I was uninterested and to take me off the listing she would start begging me to give her another chance! The date of birth and email she had from me was completely wrong, its just a scam! They want you to pay ?39 a month for a lottery syndicate which you ll never win. Just block this number and don t give them the time of day!

Robot voice said it was HMRC and there was an outstanding lawsuit against me. It was my final warning apparently and then it hung up.
SCAM. There is no such thing as a Covid Pass. I nearly fell for it. The first thing they ask for is your GP’s post code. That made me take a 2nd look at it. Then they asked for my name date of birth address etc. I completed my mums Covid booster online form and it wasn’t like this so I pulled myself together and deleted everything and looked at the number which was a mobile. The NHS don’t send anything by text on a mobile number like that. Dangerous SCAM.
