I answered this call and the lady on the other end said she was calling from OVO Energy, as it appeared as a mobile number I didn t trust or believe her and ended the call!!!! I ve now blocked the number!!!!

Poor reception where I was when I answered so they couldn't hear me, but they knew my name, eventually they hung up. I rang the number back later and immediately heard an automated message saying my custom was important to them and I would be answered by the next available agent but no-where in the message did they reveal who they were so hung up.

This number is NHS calling to book a physio appointment, they won't leave a message unless they have spoken to you and you agree... 100% genuine call
Annoyingly you have to answer the phone to add it to your BT black list so i only answered and hung up straight away. i dont know why they bother and i hope they rot it hell.

This number called with message about "every house needs to be done by 2016" plus "we are in your area" last week - some solar panel scam. Didn t answer - the message is recorded on my answerphone. Same message from 01316483485 yesterday - same result. This lot have probably rented fake numbers from a major phone company which offers them on its web site. Some firms offer call centres numbers which give the person called the idea that it is a local call.

This is a scam number. Automated call received claiming to be from HMRC and regarding tax fraud. The automated call makes threat about arrest for not paying tax! Asks to press 1 to continue with the call. I am certain if you press 1 then you will be connected to a premium rate number and will be charged hundreds of pounds (may be even thousands).
SCAM / SPAM Recorded message saying that they are HMRC and that an arrest warrant would be issued if I didn’t press 1 to connect the call. HMRC WOULD NOT OPERATE IN THIS WAY. DO NOT PRESS 1!!!

Location says Trafalgar Square London but possible rerouted there from Indian scam call centres. Each time I order from Amazon I have scammers try to steal my cash! The 'company' title 'Expert Savers is misleading to get personal information from you, including bank details if you let them supposedly sign you up to a magazine subscription, etc. This is another new number for these harassing pests who won't delete your details from their systems if you ask them to - I know because of having repeatedly (dozens, if not over a hundred times by now). This one is a Birmingham (UK) dialling code, but they use others too.
