Called my mobile while I was driving. Although I have hands-free I did not answer because it was an unrecognised number. Once home I looked it up on several sites; on other sites other people have left reports of a scam, fake calls purporting to be Virgin Media etc. I have blocked the number.

Called at 1210hrs. Male with office sounds in background. He spoke with an Indian sub-continent accent. Said his name was Simon and was calling to make me debt free. I asked him the time where he was. He asked "Why". I said if he did not answer the question I would hang up. I hung up.

A bit insistent when I said no, and asked why so when I said ‘because I don’t want to’ she ended the call. It was quite a friendly manner but as above, quite pushy. Had three uninvited calls from this unknown caller. I don't respond to such calls. If they are genuine they can leave me a voicemail (but they don't, of course!) and I can call back if I choose. Suspect it's a scam call so have blocked the number!
