An Asian gentleman called apparently on behalf of a company called Housing Couldnt understand the second part of the company name Claimed that they helped tenants with repairs like mould etc He knew my name but didnt seem to know much else seeing as I am not currently a tenant anywhere

SCAM Has called 5 times in the last 2 weeks. Automated message £300 spent at Amazon and £1000 bank transfer to a foreign country. Alleges to come from your bank but doesn't say which one! Press 1 to speak to bank or press 2 to speak to an advisor. I am fed up of them calling and I put the phone down or let it go to answer phone.

I haven't invested in bitcoin so told them to trace where money came from and pay it back to that account. So obvious that it is a scam to get your bank details.

Phone was off but had a missed call from this number and HUGE reported on line concerns from people about it. It worryingly coincides with DAILY Phishing e mails for past 3/4 months reported to report@phishing/ICO and Microsoft. Strange voicemail left, someone repeating a garbled word or two then laughing. Background sound like a call centre. I haven't any idea who it was or if they were even speaking English.
This phone number dialled me 10:03am and I phoned him back now and he said no I never called that number in a sluggish grumpy voice like that guy that says “computer says no”

They rang saying it was the Inland Revenue and that I had ignored letters and owed money and to press 1 to speak to their operative which I did not do. I blocked the number. I am a pensioner with heart problems so not impressed. It was a recorded message which sounded robotic - hope this helps and hope you can take it down. I've reported it to Inland Revenue via their on line form.
