A man called my telephone to ask me to access my computer so he can fix the issue with the internet connection. I had not reported a fault, he was not calling from my provider and used a wrong mame for me. So, I hung up. The following day I discovered that the internet connection on my son s laptop had indeed been disabled! He must have visited a dodgy website but it is worrying that they could retrieve my telephone number from it.

Called again 11.12.14 @ 1620 hrs. Recognised as nuisance cold call so not answered.

They called me with an automated message at 3:53 a.m. Needless to say I am not a fan.

This is a SCAM. Called me asking for credit card/ debit card details so they could block unwanted calls. I told him this was a scam and he repeated "a scam" and then hung up.

a lady said I had 5 free tickets for euro millions for tonight, I asked politely for my number to be renoved as im not interested. she then said" well its a chance to win free money, im pretty sure you would be interested if you actually listened to what im telling you" she was quite aggressive! Like others used Anglian in the past. They call every month from different numbers even when you tell them you don?t want anything. They came round last week because ?they were in the area?. Very annoying. They sound desperate and for that I?m sad.

Genuine line but some scam is pretending to be their number on incoming call display.

Sounded like the company was called Generate. I didn't hang on to find out what they do!

IT CLAIMS TO BE A BT NUMBER

Robot voice pretending to be from BT, saying we have detected malicious activity on your IP address. Strange, as I aren t with BT, and ironic, as the call is a scam itself.
