Text message stating it was Octopus Energy. But I have an account and they normally contact via email. So I don’t trust it.

Whoever they are they keep phoning my mobile and when I don't answer they immediately call from a similar number. They are very slow to take the hint!

SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access. First time I have received a call from this number. Rang a couple of times then rang off.

This number called my mobile. Before I could answer it rang off. On phoning it from landline it is unobtainable. Possible scam of some sort?
