Very nasty credit card

I am being bombarded with insurance claims calls at the moment to my mobile phone that I use for business calls. This number has rung me twice, 1 week apart and nobody has been on the end of the line. TPS have registered my number so I should not be getting silent calls.

Same as other comments. Didn't know so didn't answer.

Asian male who said he was called Eric Lawson and my windows computer had been hacked - I told him I would report this to the Police direct, but he kept on, wanted me to log on PC - no chance- asked for the company name , tel. No , reg. Company no. He gave me an address in Leicester, despite ringing from Bath! And gave me a toll free (American term) number. Hung up.....

Advertising Scams. Try to get you to place ads on non existent magazines etc. Pretend to record calls so do not agree to anything. Used to use withheld numbers but now resorting to mobiles to get round call blocking.

Looks like one of a series of 0203 numbers that repeat call but leave no message - blocked

Said they were calling from Domestic and General - a company we do have an account with already. Said we were a valued customer and had qualified for a discount. Said we were already covered for our TV Satellite equipment etc. We knew this was incorrect. They said we were already paying £10 by DD. Not True. The company is called Fresh Start and was warned about this company calling fron 0161 numbers. They re main purpose is to obtain your bank details, under no circumstances get in to a conversation with these people. they will rob you blind.
