Its not just AO I just received a call from a young woman claiming to be from boots appliances, in the pretence of confirming delivery details etc. In fact her sole purpose was to sell insurance cover! She repeated every detail of my delivery, which I already know, told me they can remove my old appliance, which I already know etc etc etc then asked me why my old appliance was broken! All leading to the insurance pitch! These are badly scripted insurance sales calls! I am very disappointed that boots

Received a letter allegedly from the Homeless Asian Society (does not exist), containing very offensive and racist language. This number was at the top of the letter.

Has regularly called each day for some weeks but never leaves a voicemail. I never take 08 calls as I feel they re notorious for belonging to folks looking to do some sort of business or wanting to make money from me in some way - I shall be the one to choose who I engage and intend to pay for ANY service, and not the person who happens to come across my number somehow. Orkney code nearly got caught out as it is my local code. Really fed up of getting these calls.

Silent cal initialy, followed by netallic png, then pre-recorded f/male voice says "Goodbye" Ring-back gives invalid number message.

Rang 11.am 16th March but no answer to my "Hello". Could hear typical call-centre background sounds before the line went dead.

Not a sales call but wanting to add your business details to their website www.house.co.uk - which does not exist. Make of that what you will.

I have received calls from these people every day but nobody is on the line. So I emailed them and told them to remove my ex directory number immediately as they are contravening the new Data Protection Law and one more call and I will complain and they could incur as hefty fine, if I wanted their insurance I would call them, so Google Data Protection and go on their site, There is a link where you can complain. This is harassment so let s put a stop to it.

Vanquis bank hastling calls via local numbers to agrresivly and sneakily trying to call you when you may be close to paying .... NOTE this is a form of harrasment by this bank and not tollerated by judge if found to be of an itimidating nature
