SPAM - Indian sounding man says he’s from internet security. Wanted me to download an App on my phone or laptop called Team Viewer QuickSupport - quickly realised it was a screen sharing app. Decided to hang up the phone and unplug my landline. Reported to BT and Fraud ActionLine.

These people phone me and told me they were ringing on behalf of the government - they wanted to know personal health details. Told them to write to me but they just carried on reading from a script and I had to put the phone down
Has called several times, usually while I was driving so didn t answer. I must have given my number out unwisely because I have had over 50 unwanted calls from different numbers over the past 6 weeks, all of them posted as untrustworthy on this site

Caller claimed to be wanting to complete a survey on behalf of Devon and Cornwall fire and rescue in relation to pole tax expenditure. Could not give me details of how he got my mobile number that the council do not have! Therefore this appears to be a scam!

Just had a call from this number, an asian lady called Kate Brown(???) who said that my IP address was being used by others around the world so they will be cancelling user licence on my IP address. The second option was they will talk me through how to block so I wont be compromised. Told her that I was computer illiterate and could she ring back later and speak to my hubby. Timeshare platinum weeks. Out of date information quoted, probably from other organisations or companies. Seems to have a database out with data protection laws/ no protection from GDPR, and information shared or sold by others. Cold called without permission, TPS not checked and seems to use a mass computer calling system as have had lots of dead calls from same number.
