Just got a silent call today 05/08/13

They are called theclaimsteam.com. Number now barred.

This number called my mobile. Before I could answer it rang off. On phoning it from landline it is unobtainable. Possible scam of some sort?

Says he is calling from justrunout.co.uk in Luton but his number is from Basildon and their only office is in Billericay. Completely fake.

Said she was from Autodesk or AutoCAD and was looking to speak to accounts as license was due to expire. As we don't use Autocad i got suspicious, then she asked if she was speaking to a certain company, of which i didn't know. This may have been a genuine call where they phoned the wrong company or could have been a scam to try and get a payment. As Autodesk now use 3rd party account managers then you would normally know the person calling you and they would be using the correct names.

Telepest. People from India claiming to do election research on behalf of something called NQR, and they keep ringing repeatedly - probably a scam that starts by pretending to be a survey. They keep ringing even if you tell them not to.

Constant spam emails advertising claiming for a frozen pension.

They had my name but stopped speaking mid-sentence before they said where they were from and then hung up. I heard call centre noise after they stopped speaking.

I have blocked this number yet my mobile shows its still calling me.

Rang up asking to speak to accounts about the business insurance, told them it was renewed in march. they then wanted to know who it was with and I said that Im not obliged to tell them and told them not to ring this number again but they probably will do

I got called by this number earlier today. In my case even though it was unsolicited, it was a welcomed call from Carphone Warehouse. I had an issue with their website and the resolved it for me.

Claimed to be from my broadband provider and wanted to sort router problems.

I had a missed call from this number while I was at work. I don't answer unknown numbers especially in work time.

I have been called twice from this number. On the second occassion I returned the call as it was a local code but was a bit unsure as the second part of the number was unfamilli...

caller said my debit card had been used to send £600 abroad and press 1 if it was not me who had carried out the transaction.

This number called me today, said she was calling from the Nationwide Building Society. The female Indian caller knew my name, told me my postcode and asked me to confirm if it was correct. I told her I don t have an account with Nationwide and that she s a scammer after my personal details.... then hung up on her haha!

Same says the tax office--- dont divulge anything scam call
