I received a call from this number to a landline in Switzerland They claimed to be from Visa saying that there had been suspicious charges to my visa card. They gave me details , and said that I should push 1 if they were OK, and 2 if I should reject them. I hung up

Called this morning. I do not know anyone in Leeds. Caller was a woman with an (Indian?) accent. Caller told me that I needed debt. A weird call, caller did not use my name, identify herself or tell me why I needed debt.

This number sent me an SMS I do not recognise this number so I did not open it amp came straight here as I always do when a number is unknown to me My thanks to the only other person to leave a comment I have now deleted the SMS I deal in person with the NHS as I am fearful of hacking resulting in loss theft of my personal information I would not have initiated any contact from the NHS portal It may be autodialling not a scam per se but I will mark it as untrustworthy all the same

Automated call telling me £1000 had been taken from my account for a gambling site in the USA. It then followed saying £300 had been taken to pay Amazon. Neither of these things have happened. It asked to press 1 or 3 as a follow up.

SCAM This person didn’t know who they were speaking to ( my name). Said I was eligible for a free medical emergency pendant… I asked how they had got my number and said was given them by manager. Just kept repeating his name and same phrase and not answering questions. If this is actually a real call it’s a weird way of going about things. Asked if I was over 50 at the beginning so watch out!!
This is a scam call pertaining to be from your bank
Received this call today. It came approximately 30 minutes after a call from a Cambridge number 01223 931995. The Cambridge number went dead on answering. The 01330 563426 number allowed me to answer, and an automated message said it was the HMRC and that I would be fined. You could press 1 to talk to an agent. I hung up. You cannot ring back. Caller said name was PERRY HUTHES asked numerous personal questions managed to get my mum and dad's ages and details about house security before my mum managed to get the phone off Dad. suggested working with Warwickshire police - vague enough to not be an outright lie wanted to get someone into the house for a sales visit. hard sell rather than scammer I think, but still very annoying and careful probing for personal details set the alarm bells ringing.
