I keep getting calls from this number which I never answer. I think that if you answer or reply to calls from these people they will know that the number is live, and not only will they keep hassling you, but they will also sell your number to other rogue companies.

01723788922 automated call at 3:24pm today, caller said they were from B.T. and that they were going to disconnect me as there was evidence of somebody tapping in to my network, and if I wanted to speak to them to press 1. At this point I blocked the call as I am not with B.T. so I knew it was a spam caller.

I texted back to say they d got a wrong number but apparently their number doesn t recieve text messages, although it does seem to be able to send them! When I,ve got a free minute I bombard these parasites with dead calls by withholding my own number see how these oiks like it! My voicemail picked up part of an automated recorded message, seemed to be telling me to press 1 or my National Insurance number would be 'switched off' and I would no longer be able to use it.
