I received calls for weeks from this number, all i could get was a fake company name: utilite. The person who I spoke to said they got my number from a data provider which he refused to releveal.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. It was an openreach engineer, called to confirm if I wanted 2 lines installed and then to call my ISP to cancel one of them.

National Accident Helpline. Continually calling TPS registered mobile number. If they get a negative response they keep coming back using peoples first names that they insist have called them from your number. They are scum and should be shut down

He new my name. Tried to suggest he was from a Government Agency and I owed money - unsecured loans. When I disagreed and asked for his details, he put the phone down.
