Answered, sounded like a call centre. They hung upwithout saying anything.

Calls are not answered but call back every hour

Same. Text says from NHS service.

I am sick to death of the daily calls from this number all times of day no message left etc I have found out it is a sky number based in Cardiff but do not answer or call back getting really sick of it now need to find out how to block this number it s a nuisance especially as I am already with sky! Not by choice but automatically transferred from O2.

Someone please put these bandits out of action, for Pete's sake! :-)

Appears to be a Scam Call number with recorded message on return claiming government department, clearly a scam.

Woman on the line claiming to be from Microsoft... I didn t give her a chance to say anymore, just told her to F-off.

Obviously some crappy Call Centre because the number when rang back gives the message 'Sorry, that extension is not a recognised number' I have now blocked it.

Reject the call and then block the number before answering for the first time. I cancelled my Labour Membership and now I am getting calls from this number to rejoin, sometimes at 9pm.

I m called from this number frequently. Nowadays I usually let the answerphone take the call, and then check 1471. Today s caller said he was from British Consumer . As TPS has confirmed, there s no such company. Someone who posted a comment here was asking why BT etc don t block these calls since the number is known. It s because BT and the other telephone providers make money offering a service that subscribers can sign up to specifically to block such calls – they ride on the back of these people

Unwanted, unsolicited nuisance call which woke up our baby grandson who had just been put down to sleep.

Seems that that all these numbers are north of the border.. This one is from Brechin, not knowing anyone up there, I didn't answer.
