I called Barclays on 03457 345 345 only to be told this numbers has switched to 0345 600 45 40. I called this number and followed the exact same instructions that you would normally be asked only something didn't feel quite right about it. I called back the 03457 345 345 number which worked this this time and spoke to a gentleman on the Fraud team who advised me this was not one of their numbers and this was most definitely a fraud attempt. I have now had my card cancelled and had to change my security ques

They asked me my name but when I asked who was calling no one spoke. It sounded like a call centre as there were human voices and office sounds in the background. After 30 seconds I put the phone down. I rang them back but got a voice message saying their voicemail box was full.
Someone claiming to be employed by my life insurers to do an annual review. Very emotionally manipulative. Confirmed with my life insurers they do not need to do annual review. Next time they called I called them out on this and they become very aggressive. I terminated the call and they called back twice (I didn't answer).
