Received text warning me of impending fraud and to ring asap. when you ring the number it asks you continuously to enter your sort code and account number instead of putting you through to an operator. Obvious fraud attempt.

Abel and Cole -- I used to be a customer and they were really good but my job means that I cannot be around to receive the goods on a regular basis so I cancelled. This is some landline from London area, I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but as written previously for similar numbers, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. All the numbers are of the same range 020347621xx - some of them were already reported as being used by call centre calling for non-profit (NSPCC - check them at http://www.nspcc.org.uk/). Nuisance for me....

This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre. Just block it or block the range, I have been using the mobile application from these pages, works fine, no problems. Blocked
