Man with Indian accent said his name was Michael. Claimed to be from BT Open Reach. (I didn’t think they were contactable) Local Shaftesbury number. He then asked me how I am today. It didn’t seem very professional. I felt uneasy about this so I rang off.

Apparently calling on behalf of O2 as I am due an upgrade! O2 have no idea who they are. Checked their company website www.thephonespot.com and the people on phone haven t even got a clue of the phone number on the website!

I used a Go Compare website for insurances last week and now i get a lot of calls from this number. I believe in a connection of that. When i pick up the phone no one answers. Very strange!

Google search reveals it to be Sensible Staffing, a recruitment agency for healthcare, pharmacy etc staff and based in north London.

These guys offer a supposed Nuisance Call Blocker service but the only nuisance calls I get are from these people. They call 5-6 times a day no matter what I do or say.

Its a trigger call for a malware scam. If you have the malware on your mobile overnight your phone will dial a premium rate number for up to 12 hours !!

Answered call. Silence then disconnect

Lady called stating I had a recent car accident blah. Asked her how she got my number. She stated they got it from the Road Traffic Accident Claim Department. I said I d never heard of it. Was it a Government department. Long silent pauses at the other end. Repeatedly asked her to spell the name of her company. She rang off. Surprise surprise. Funnily enough I had been speaking to my insurance company (Covea) only 30 mins before asking how these scumbags get my mobile number. They don t know!

Answered a call from this number. Nobody on the other end. It then hung up
