Repeated phone calls, answered some of them and sounds like a call centre in the background but hang up immediately without saying anything. Return calls not answered. I am on the TPS.

I jsut had a call from a sweet man give me this whole spiel about Great Ormand Street Hospital. I know great hospital etc. In the end I didnt donate because i am not in the position to financially, otherwise he nearly had me there. Other threads on the net suggest that this was a hoax. Would not speak to me, just asked for the MD (by name) then when I wouldnt put the call through, just hung up.

Called me and asked to speak to [my name]. I asked who they were, gave company name. Started trying to small talk with me so I asked the reason for the call. He then said "We re calling because of some information we ve been pass-" and then he hung up on me. Presumably he knew I couldn t be fleeced!

Persistant missed call
